    Very good

I liked very much the Lady of House of Two Urns. Hotel was quiet and crew very friendly. Location was perfect for city trip. Subway and bus stop were near. Only minus was, that hotell hard to find, becourse there`s no visible sign on the wall. Best regards Ari Marttila, Finland

laid back place, back door entry so you don't bother other guests.

    Superb

Kapra and the rest of the staff a House of Two Urns were very welcoming and knowledgeable. My room was small but very well outfitted and the the kitchen in the apartment was very well stocked and kept very clean. The communal sitting areas (both indoor and outdoor) more than made up for the small room. The neighborhood is a nice change of pace from the loop but very easy to get to on the CTA. Breakfast was delicious. I would come back in a heart beat. I definitely prefer this too the cookie cutter hotel experience.

My only complaint was that my bed was a little uncomfortable (Walnut) this is a matter of personal taste.

    Good

for a BnB it was well maintained, it was also close to downtown, owner goes at great length to assist and make your stay comfortable

    * this place turned out to be a bnb, while Booked.net lists it as hotel, *lack of elevator in a multifloor accomodation can be an issue for some.

    Very good

The House of Two Urns is a very welcoming, friendly and cozey B&B but I wasn't too sure about it's location. Though convenient in terms of public transport both for downtown and for the aiport/Amtrak station, not having a car might be a problem at night, especially for a female solo traveller (which I was). Still, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the House itself quite beautiful (better looking inside than outside) and with character. My room felt really lovely, and very cosey. It was very convenient to have the kitchen facilities, and great to have free high-speed wi-fi, as well as access to a free DVD library.

I had to share my bathroom with another room, but this wasn't a problem, and everything seemed really clean and tidy at all times. My room (Alice) was next to the kitchen so when other guests were using the facility (as in a family having dinner there, rather than someone getting some water) it was quite noisy. Guests were discouraged to do so after 10pm but, even so, it felt quite invasive due to the proximity and lack of any sound proofing.

I like breakfast at this apartment and It is near cta.

I feel no safe when I went back at after evening or early 12:00 pm.The guest should take the cap or their vehicle.

    Superb

it is a fantastic antique designed bed and breakfast place. I definitely had a great time, staff are very friendly and helpful. breakfast was amazing everyday , I have never seen such a place that you can specify your breakfast choice in detail.

I think shared bathroom and toilet is not my type (just a preference) but it was always clean and in good condition so I cannot say it was inconvenient.

    Exceptional

Had a very Victorian era feel about it. Almost like time traveling. Decor and ambiance was wonderful.

    Good

    Cute decor, great breakfast.

The customer service was pretty awful - as soon as we checked out, the hostess treated us like we were in her hair for asking if we could store our bags there for a couple hours and use the internet in the lobby for 15 minutes. We got the silent treatment and eye rolls. But all in all, it was a pretty good value for Chicago, and an excellent location.

    Superb

The House of Two Urns is extremely well located - especially if you're interested in walking in the footsteps of Nelson Algren. It is just a 10 dollar taxi ride form the center, and a 5 minute walk from the super funky Wicker Park/Damon area. My hotel rom was extremely cozy and, although I didn't have the breakfast, it looked balanced and delicious.

The staff were nice but not overly friendly and/or helpful. Still, this is the only thing that was not 100% excellent, and I would not hesitate to go back as everything else ticked the boxes and I like sorting things out on my own.
